Dr Karthikeyan Ponnusami (Dr Karthik) is an accomplished clinician with 20+ years in implant and advanced restorative dentistry. He holds a Master’s in Prosthodontics from King’s College London and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

His main interests include full-mouth rehabilitation, complex implant dentistry, tissue grafting, and aesthetic smile makeovers. He is also skilled in digital smile design for precise, natural results.

Dental TherapistKishan Patel

Kishan undertook the combined roles of Dental Therapist and Hygienist at The Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. His training means he can carry out some of the work of a dentist, including providing treatments to children and treating patients suffering from gum disease.

He aims to provide the highest standard of dental care and keeps his knowledge up to date by attending dental courses and lectures. He particularly enjoys working with children and gives oral health education talks in schools and in clinics.

Outside work, Kishan has seven years experience of tutoring children in Maths and English. Kishan keeps active by playing football and tennis and going to the gym. Having had a keen interest in art from a young age, he enjoys sculpting and painting in his spare time.

Mitra qualified from Bart’s and the London school of Medicine and Dentistry with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She is also a qualified Physiotherapist.

She has a passion for preventative dentistry and believes prevention is better than cure and takes this approach with her work.

Mitra’s ability to make patients feel comfortable and her experience in dealing with anxious and nervous patients makes her an asset to the practice and we look forward to you meeting her.

Mitra lives a healthy lifestyle and enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family. She has also spent time abroad in Morocco, Uganda and Afghanistan volunteering with organisations that look after orphaned children and street kids.
